Have you ever wondered how you could give back to a community and see the world at the same time?

Volunteer abroad is a way you can do just that! Do you find yourself sitting in the classroom thinking, “This would be awesome if I could do it in real life and see what it’s all about.” Ardenti knows that you want to step inside the very things you are doing in the classroom that you one day will be doing in the real world. So, we created a space for you to do that. We take you on global leadership adventures that show you what fair trade learning looks like, feels like and sounds like in our community global villages. While you are using the skills that are being taught in those classrooms, you can travel to places you never dreamed you would go….until now.

What People are Saying about Service Learning

“I am honored to have been chosen as the Dolores Tuten Scholarship Recipient for Fall of 2018. This was so much more than a study abroad trip-it was an experience in personal growth. The time I spent with the children and people of Belize was like nothing I had experienced before. They are so kind, loving, and affectionate while many of them struggle for meals and clean water. On a personal note, this trip took me out of my comfort zone, allowing me to challenge myself and grow as a person. I am so fortunate to have been allowed this opportunity, and am so thankful to Jennifer Young and Ardenti Global Service Learning for choosing me! Thank you, and as they say it Belize…it was un-belize-able!”

Fall 2019 Delores Maria Tuten Scholarship Recipient

I recently returned from a trip to Belize with Ardenti! Let me tell you, it was one of the best experiences of my life. Not only did I have the opportunity to grow personally, but professionally as well. I am confident that this trip has better prepared me for my future. The children that we worked with were the most precious, loving children I have ever had the privilege of loving on in my entire life. This organization is something special! The executive director, Jennifer Young, has a tremendous amount of passion and heart backing every single trip and interaction that she has with both students and those being served. It has been such a blessing working alongside of her this semester, and I look forward to going on more trips with her in the future! I will be going to Austin, Texas with Ardenti in a couple of weeks, and I cannot wait! If you want a way to step out of your comfort zone, have something great to add to your resume, grow in more ways than you can imagine, and serve others then I would highly, highly recommend this organization! Ardenti means “to blaze a path” in Latin, and this organization is doing just that. Please don’t miss out on what could be a life changing experience. It’s right in front of you!
